The Perfect Travel Companion

This small but mighty palette has changed my eyeshadow game since purchasing it a couple of months ago within Sam and Nic’s Smashbox beauty edit box*. The Smashbox Cover Shoot Eye Palette in Ablaze is super lightweight but the choice of 8 shades aids in the perfect mix & match combination to create a multitude of looks at different intensities. I personally love a natural everyday look using the top left pale nude shade all over the lid followed by the matte rusty colour in the crease, the pink shimmery shade (far left) over top and then I use the darkest brown (far right) as a liner which I smudge into the lash line and then create a little smudged out flick. The mirror is the perfect size to travel with and you’re able to create so many different looks with this tiny palette that it is the perfect holiday/ travel companion. As I’m back and forth from home to uni so much this is the only eye palette I’ve been reaching for.

Well that title sounds rather dramatic doesn't it! Beauty On A Budget- Naked 2 Alternative

         Like the look of Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette but not loving the price tag? Check out the MUA undressed palette from superdrug for an astonishing £4 compared the Naked 2 which is £37. Both come with 12 different really wearable bronzy shades. The pigmentation and colour pay off is obviously going to be quite a lot better in the naked palette but for the price you pay the MUA palette is a wonderful dupe and can create some equally as great smoky eye looks. Chubby Stick Loving

  The chubby stick lip pencils are doing well for themselves at the moment, they seem to withhold the exact qualities that we as beauty enthusiasts look for in a lip product. The simplicity of a pencil format makes application easy peasy and gives a really flawless looking finish to the lip. Lots of high end and drugstore brands have brought out their own versions of the chubby stick lip pencil/ crayon styled products and I have delved into this craze to sample some of my own. Revlon has released three separate lines of the crayon lipsticks, the first being the Just Bitten Kissable balm stains, I have the shade 040 Rendezvous which is a gorgeous sheeny corally-orange shade which looks absolutely gorgeous on the lips.
