In Lash Paradise




After trialling a fair few alternatives I think I have found myself firmly settled on a favourite mascara courtesy of L'Oreal's Lash Paradise (£11.99). This drugstore mascara has been repurchased too many times to count and I can't imagine going elsewhere for the foreseeable future. 
The hair-like bristles create natural separation and a thick enough coating of the lashes to really open up the eyes whilst avoiding the dreaded spidered look.
The only downside I can think of is that, like with many mascaras, when you buy a new one the formula can be a bit too wet and sticky at first but this really quickly firms up once it has been opened. 
This is one that will definitely be sticking around in my make up bag until anything else comes close!

Well that title sounds rather dramatic doesn't it! Beauty On A Budget- Naked 2 Alternative

         Like the look of Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette but not loving the price tag? Check out the MUA undressed palette from superdrug for an astonishing £4 compared the Naked 2 which is £37. Both come with 12 different really wearable bronzy shades. The pigmentation and colour pay off is obviously going to be quite a lot better in the naked palette but for the price you pay the MUA palette is a wonderful dupe and can create some equally as great smoky eye looks. Chubby Stick Loving

  The chubby stick lip pencils are doing well for themselves at the moment, they seem to withhold the exact qualities that we as beauty enthusiasts look for in a lip product. The simplicity of a pencil format makes application easy peasy and gives a really flawless looking finish to the lip. Lots of high end and drugstore brands have brought out their own versions of the chubby stick lip pencil/ crayon styled products and I have delved into this craze to sample some of my own.
