Brow Artist Plumper

Image
I recently purchased this L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper as I was endeavouring to grow my brows out and they were beginning to get a little to unruly for my liking. This has been wonderful at locking my brows into place all day and also adding a little bit of colour to them. I have it in the shade Medium/ Dark which I have found to be the perfect colour match for my brows and it can really be built up to create a full tinted brow. It can be a little messy if you don't clean all the excess product off the wand before using it but apart from that I am loving this! Lots of love, Son x

Italy Loving

Image
A few holiday pics from last month with my beautiful best friend, her mum and my mum. It was honestly one of the loveliest, most relaxing and most beautiful holidays I have been on. We stayed in my friends house in Italy which was just stunning with a gorgeous view and an amazing infinity pool! We spent the week exploring the lovely nearby towns and catching a tan. All in all it was a fabulous trip and I definitely want to go back and stay there again!                 Lots of love, Son x

My Drugstore Face

This make up look has been on repeat for the last few weeks as it is purely just quick, easy and looks pretty put together. These products are all from boots or superdrug so they wont break your bank but are still brilliant purchases and often comparable to their higher end counterparts! You will notice that the list is very Rimmel, L'Oreal and Maybelline heavy and that is purely because they seem to work the best for me and I am very impressed by a lot of the make up from these 3 brands so I tend to always go back and try out other products within their lines.    The products used are; Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer £6.99 (buy here ) Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation £6.99 (buy here ) Max Factor Crème Puff Blush in the shade Lavish Mauve £8.99 (buy here ) Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer £11.00 (buy here ) L'Oreal Superliner in Black £6.49 (buy here ) Maybelline Colour tattoo in the shade Pink Gold £4.99 (buy here ) L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara £10.99

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer v Maybeline Fit Me Concealer

On first glance these 2 concealers sat side by side look almost identical. The sleek, thin, rectangular packaging, both topped with a black cap and the brand names along the casing. Both also have a doe foot applicator so the application process will be pretty much identical. So the battle of the concealers relies upon the formula alone. The make or break of these products; how they feel on the skin.   Lets begin the breakdown with the Nars radiant creamy concealer. (link here ) The price being more hefty at £22.00 we're expecting a little bit more quality for our product with this one. And I really do think it delivers. It comes in 10 shades so there is bound to be a shade to suit your skin tone. The  formula is really creamy as the name would suggest. It blends nicely and has a really great amount of coverage, whilst not feeling heavy or cakey on the skin. This has great longevity and stays put for a really long time, however it is notorious for creasing and I have

Vichy Dermablend.

Tracking this foundation down was like mission impossible, but as soon as I got my hands on it I fell in love. I was tempted by this through its seeming perfect attributions, labelled as full coverage with a "bare skin feel" and an SPF of 35. I had seen Lisa Eldridge sing its praises and then it was a definite that this would be in my possession. The formula is so lightweight, buildable and blends into the skin seamlessly, it sure does have high coverage although I would maybe disagree with its supposed matte finish and I would class it as having more of a satin finish. This covers any blemishes and pigmentation on my skin whilst still looking natural and "skin-like". There is also a great offer on in Boots at the moment, where all Vichy products have 25% off, making the already reasonable price tag of £18 even less costly, buy it here. I would seriously recommend this for a lot of skin types and shades, especially those with sensitive skin as this is fragrance
