Blushed

Image
I had never been a religious blush wearer until I was recently talking to the woman at the nars counter in London who told me my face looked very flat and dull without it.. What a compliment eh. So I decided to bite the bullet and delve into the world of crimson tints and I was pleasantly surprised with my findings. My first blush affair was with Benefit's Coralista, although the packaging is maybe not so alluring, the product inside is such a gem! It's rose gold peachy goodness is perfect for creating a 2 in 1 highlight and flushed effect and adds such a warm glow to the skin. Secondly comes in the form of Mac's Matte Melba, more of a subtle shade but beautiful nonetheless, I wear this on an everyday basis to add some life back into my cheeks whilst not overdoing the shimmer. Finally the middle man, Max Factor's Crème Puff Blush in the shade Lavish Mauve. I'm sure we have all heard about the resemblance between this and the somewhat more costly Hourglass ambient

Hair Removal: The Way Forward

After watching Lily Pebbles talk about the different options for removing unwanted hair it inspired me to brave into the world of epilating. I am truly converted. This Braun Silk Epil 7 has become my handy dandy life safer. It comes with 5 changeable heads, the epilator itself, the charging plug which annoyingly needs an adapter as it is a European port. It also comes with some soothing wipes which are lovely for use before and after epilating. Yes, it is (very) painful the first couple of times you use this, so ease into the legs first as they are less sensitive. I would also recommend starting with the "massage head" as it doesn't tug at the skin so much. I have really found the difference in regrowth after using this for over a month now as my hair has got a lot thinner and is growing back a lot slower which is perfect. You have to be patient and work through the pain but I would really say it is worth it once you have got used to it. The prices vary a lo

Eat My Dust...

Barry M recently launched their a new line of nail polishes claiming to be quick drying, their original and Gelly Hi shine polishes have done nothing but impress me and so I held high expectations when these reached stores. I'm sure we are all in agreement that having pretty polished nails makes us feel fab but the tedious job of painting them and waiting for them to dry is severely lacking in enjoyment. These definitely live up to their claims and after applying 2 coats, very smoothly might I add, my talons were dry in no time and I was able to carry on with the tasks in hand, which is a rarity after painting nails (I'm usually bed bound for the next hour, making sure my clumsy ways don't ruin my hard work). They also come in 12 of the most gorgeous shades accompanied by the cutest names of which I have 3 pretty pastels (Eat my dust, road rage and lap of honour) that will most definitely get a lot of wear this Summer. I have been wearing the pastel purple one, Lap of Hon
