Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer


This oldie but goldie has come back into my possession recently and I can't see myself letting it go again anytime soon. It's a super brightening formula and the sponge is really good at an even application, albeit potentially a bit of a breeding ground for germs. I bought the shade 1 Light Christmas, which I had never seen before but it is great for really highlighting under the eyes. It's a slightly dry formula so I would say it needs to be buffed into the skin relatively quickly but once it has been applied it leaves a really smooth and well concealed finish. The only criticism I have is how quickly this one has run out for me, I bought it in March and have almost finished it which I think it really quick for a concealer to run out and I'm not sure if the applicator plays a part in that with potentially wasting some of the product. 

However, I am really enjoying using this and I would definitely repurchase again when it runs out.

Well that title sounds rather dramatic doesn't it! Beauty On A Budget- Naked 2 Alternative

         Like the look of Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette but not loving the price tag? Check out the MUA undressed palette from superdrug for an astonishing £4 compared the Naked 2 which is £37. Both come with 12 different really wearable bronzy shades. The pigmentation and colour pay off is obviously going to be quite a lot better in the naked palette but for the price you pay the MUA palette is a wonderful dupe and can create some equally as great smoky eye looks. Chubby Stick Loving

  The chubby stick lip pencils are doing well for themselves at the moment, they seem to withhold the exact qualities that we as beauty enthusiasts look for in a lip product. The simplicity of a pencil format makes application easy peasy and gives a really flawless looking finish to the lip. Lots of high end and drugstore brands have brought out their own versions of the chubby stick lip pencil/ crayon styled products and I have delved into this craze to sample some of my own.
