Zara's Legendary £9.99 Perfumes

Image
If you're not in the know of the Zara perfumes then you really must get to know. The EDTs are genuinely so comparable in quality of scent to high end fragrances and the price of £9.99 for 100ml makes them even more of a catch. Although the Red Vanilla scent is the only one in my collection as of right now, so many of my friends have tried and own an abundance of perfumes from the Zara range and they all sing their praises to the max! The notes as offered by Zara for this perfume are " The scent reveals notes of blackcurrant, iris and vanilla. It’s a warm, elegant and long-lasting fragrance." It's a really sweet scent which I love and I would say it is comparable to Giorgio Armarni's Si which also has notes of blackcurrant and vanilla. So if you are a fan of Si, like me, but not a fan of it's price tag, then definitely try this one! Or have a whiff of the other perfumes Zara has to offer and you will not be disappointed.   I wear this every day as ...

Every Day Uses For Essential Oils

Image
I had always believed that essential oils were purely used by hippies and had no actual benefits apart from smelling nice. Oh, how I was wrong. Although, I don't use essential oils as extensively as some, they have been getting regular use for a variety of hacks. I personally crack out my lavender oil on the daily, I sprinkle a few drops onto my pillows before bed and I find that as soon as my head hits the cushion at night I am instantly soothed, relaxed and the stresses from the day seem to melt away. Not only this but I also slather lavender oil onto my hips, mixed in with my body cream as I have been using it as an attempt to fade my stretch marks. Although they are definitely still very prevalent I would say that I have noticed some sort of change in the appearance of my stretch marks and even if it is a placebo, it is one I am happy to take as it has definitely increased my confidence surrounding this area which I used to be hard on myself about. Here are some othe...

A £3 Dupe for Jo Malone's £90 Colonge?!

Image
Jo Malone has become such a sought after brand and it's no wonder when their scents are so beautiful and are really unique but the same can't be said for the accompanying price tag. At £90 for an 100ml bottle this truly is a luxury product that the average Joe would have to think long and hard about investing in. In comes Primark with their new range of fragrances, a little too similar to Jo Malone's cult combinations, not that I am complaining in the slightest. As I own the original Pomegranate Noir myself I was desperate to try Primark's version (Pomegranate and Black Tea) to see how well they compared and I was really shocked with how similar they are! At £3 I didn't have crazily high expectations but my hopes were exceeded tenfold. Even down to the description Primark has used for this is a definite copy at JM  "Known at Primark HQ as the scent ‘equivalent of a daring red dress’, Pomegranate & Black Tea is your new spicy and sophisticated date ni...

A Spring Scent

Image
This is the most gorgeous, light, fresh and fruity smelling scent I own and I can't get enough of it! It feels really lifting and I always feel fresh when wearing this. The scent lingers all day, so is perfect for work or school, in my case both. It is so spring like, and fresh so suits this abnormally warm weather perfectly. It is pricey at £42 but I think fragrances are worth investing in as they can really brighten your mood and who doesn't want to smell nice, eh! I hope you're all well, Lots of love as always, Son x What is your favourite scent of the moment?
