The Life Changing Cleanser Alternative

Image
After a friend recently sent me a video of her taking her make up off using only the Face Halo and water I logged straight onto Amazon Prime and ordered myself a pack of 3, I cringed slightly at the price, £18 for a pack of 3 when I can go to Ikea and get 4 flannels for £1?? I went along with it though, as the assurance from my friend that these would be life changing was too persuasive to ignore and I needed all of the small wins in life that I could get my hands on.  The following day, after my super speedy delivery (let's take a second to appreciate Amazon Prime) I counted down the minutes until it was time to remove the day from my face. I wet the cloth/ pad with warm water and began swiping it over my make up covered skin and to my amazement I could automatically see the pigment transferring straight onto the pad with absolutely no scrubbing. Bearing in mind this is without using any kind of cleanser, which I just could not wrap my head around. I was highly sceptical wh...

Travel Skincare Essentials

As this post goes up I will be in Brighton visiting a friend, wooooo. So I have compacted my skincare products down to the bare minimal and I thought I would share with you the 4 products that I couldn't leave behind. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - This travel size of my fave cleanser is the perfect product for on the go and seriously packs a punch in the cleansing department. It removes all traces of makeup without drying out the skin and it feels like you're pampering your face every time you use it. Josie Maran Argan Oil Light - I love this for injecting a tonne of moisture into my skin after moisturising as I find that it is the best at locking in all the juices.. mm. Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Serum- I have mentioned this a few times on my blog as it has been a ongoing participant in my skincare routine for about 2 years now and 5 tubes later. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to absorb 1,000 times its weight in water making this plump up your s...

A Few New Beauty Bits

I must confess, the Selfridges and John Lewis January sales got the better of me and I just could not resist splurging on a few products that have been sitting in my imaginary basket for yonks and finally found themselves being checked out. I would say I regret spending so much money on beauty things that I don't NEED but I would be lying.. sorreey bank! So here is a little run down of the products I have bought.  Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Hot Cloth Cleanser (starter kit)- £14.95 After trying this a few times and family and friends houses and falling in love with it, I decided I couldn't scrounge of their products any longer and I had to pick it up for myself. The starter kit comes with a waterproof wash bag/make up bag which is super handy, 2 muslin cloths and obviously the cleanser itself. This cleanser makes it all too easy to wash away the day's make up and leave your skin feeling ultra nourished and squeaky clean. ...
