School/ Work Simple Makeup

The makeup I have been gravitating towards when going to school and work has been relatively simple. I am really happy with the products that I have been using recently, they have all been working really well together and thought I would share them with you. :)

The Shampoo That Saved My Hair

Well that title sounds rather dramatic doesn't it! I'll give you a bit of background info about my hair, its all round difficult to manage, my ends get extremely dry if I don't take good care of them, my roots get extremely oily about 10 minutes after washing (only a slight exaggeration) and my scalp if stripped only slightly too much will begin to flake, how lovely.. Beauty On A Budget- Naked 2 Alternative

         Like the look of Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette but not loving the price tag? Check out the MUA undressed palette from superdrug for an astonishing £4 compared the Naked 2 which is £37. Both come with 12 different really wearable bronzy shades. The pigmentation and colour pay off is obviously going to be quite a lot better in the naked palette but for the price you pay the MUA palette is a wonderful dupe and can create some equally as great smoky eye looks. Dior Colour Awakening Lip Balm

    I know you may be thinking "Isn't this just a super expensive glorified tube of Vaseline?" and yes, you probably are right but heck, who cares! Actually, I would definitely give this more credit than that. I'm not quite sure how it does it but I feel like this can seriously transform your lips from looking really dull, to looking super glossy and plump. This is infused with technology that can change colour according to the temperature of your lips and literally suits every skin tone. I has a really lovely rosey tint to it and wears really well all day. As it is also a lip balm you still feel as though your lips are being taken care of a nourished which is fab. Super impressed with this and would recommend it to anyone that has a slightly larger budget or wants to treat themselves to something they can use everyday!
